Privacy Policy For EasyRead AR

Effective Date: 01.01.2026
App Name:  Easy Read AR
Developer: Blaze Stone Technologies

Overview

EasyRead AR is designed to help users read and interact with printed or handwritten text using the device camera, on-device text recognition, augmented reality overlays, and speech features.

We respect your privacy. The app is designed to process images and text locally on your device whenever possible. We do not sell your data, track you across apps or websites, or use your data for advertising.

Information We Collect

EasyRead AR does not collect, store, sell, or share personal information.

The app may access the following device features only when needed for app functionality:

Camera

The app uses the camera to view text in the real world so it can recognize letters, words, and reading regions. Camera frames are used to perform text recognition and display augmented reality overlays.

Camera images are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.

Speech and Audio Output

The app may use system speech features to read recognized text aloud. The app does not record your voice, listen to conversations, or collect audio from the microphone.

Photos or Saved Images

If the app allows you to save or view captured images, those images remain on your device unless you choose to share them using standard iOS sharing features.

How We Use Information

The app uses camera input and recognized text only to provide core app features, including:

  • Detecting text on a page
  • Displaying visual overlays on recognized letters or words
  • Helping users hear letters, sounds, or words
  • Supporting reading and tracing interactions

We do not use this information for advertising, user profiling, analytics, or tracking.

Data Sharing

We do not share personal data with third parties.

If you use Apple-provided system features, such as sharing, accessibility, speech, or iCloud features, those features are governed by Apple’s own privacy practices.

Tracking

EasyRead AR does not track users across apps or websites owned by other companies.

The app does not use advertising identifiers, data brokers, third-party advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking technologies.

Children’s Privacy

EasyRead AR may be used by children with the help of a parent, guardian, teacher, or caregiver. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Because the app does not collect personal information, create user accounts, or transmit camera images to our servers, we do not store personal information from children.

Data Retention

Because we do not collect personal information, we do not retain personal information on our servers.

Any images, settings, or app-generated content stored locally on your device can be deleted by removing the app or deleting the content within the app, if that feature is provided.

Security

We design the app to minimize data collection. Camera images and recognized text are processed locally on the device for app functionality. No method of electronic processing is completely risk-free, but avoiding unnecessary data collection helps reduce privacy risk.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, when appropriate, provide notice in the app or on our website.
